This layout with Basic Grey’s Little Black Dress collection has been hanging around in my scraproom for quite some time now. For me, it is one of my current favorites. And I’m happy to be able to share it with you today. * Deze layout, gemaakt met Basic Grey’s Little Black Dress collectie, hangt al een tijdje in mijn scrapruimte. Het is momenteel één van mijn persoonlijke favorieten. En ik ben blij dat ik hem hier vandaag met jullie kan delen.
I think it is one of my favorites because of the feeling that is incorporated in this layout. On the picture, you see me holding Nora’s hand, walking in our backyard. * Ik denk dat het één van mijn favorieten omwille van het gevoel dat erin verwerkt zit. Op de foto zie je mij, met Nora aan de hand, aan het wandelen in onze achtertuin.
I mounted the picture and its chequered mat onto some black cardstock. That small border of black accentuates the picture and leads your eyes to the most important part of the layout. * Ik kleefde de foto en zijn geruite mat op zwart papier. Het smalle zwarte randje accentueert zo de foto en leidt je ogen naar het belangrijkste deel van de layout.
In the upper right corner there’s a small cluster of embellishments with a floral rub-on, some strips of patterned papers and a metal flower. One of my all time favorite corners of a layout. * In de rechter bovenhoek is er een kleine cluster van embellishments, met een gebloemende rub-on, een paar strookjes dessinpapier en een metalen bloemetje. Eén van mijn favoriete hoekjes aller tijden.
I have a very important job interview tomorrow morning. Getting excited and very nervous, both at the same time. * Morgenochtend heb ik een heel belangrijk sollicitatiegesprek. Ik word helemaal enthousiast, maar ook zo nerveus tegelijkertijd.

I think this layout is one of my favorites of yours.
Logisch dat dit één van je favoriete layouts is, het is een prachtige layout Els! En jouw gevoel daarbij, dat komt zo bijzonder goed over! Het eerste wat ik dacht toen ik het zag was, daar zit emotie in, nog zonder dat ik ook maar iets erover had gelezen. Dat zit ‘m in de combinatie van die gevoelige foto met de de teksten die je er bij hebt gebruikt.
Kortom, prachtig!
Houd deze layout dus maar als favoriet.
